At this point we had a big spike in requests and small bundles of aid coming from all over Finland. As perhaps the most significant single contribution, we received rock conveyor belt from a mine. It was cut by UAO into 2700 anti-spall covers to go with Hardox-plates in bulletproof vests.

…border was starting. An old friend from the childhood currently works as a photo/video-journalist for the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, and he suggested he’ll tag along for trip. It really felt we were making a difference, and getting the attention of the wider audience to the cause. (3/X)
