i hope the Democratic party is watching this terrific young woman. She's what we need more of.

Is "any place but here" an option? And, fuck me, NYT, enough with the fluff pieces. Please be, again, the Gray Lady who only dealt in real truth-telling.

A "reason" for impeachment? How about "reasons"? Many, many reasons.

Yeah, thanks… the newspaper that for years eschewed anything smacking of entertainment. What we really need from you right now is a tasty recipe. Good job.

How is this news, much less news that is worthy of being reported on by the NYT? (remember when that used to mean something?). Unless someone has the scoop that it's either a virgin birth or coming out as the spawn of Satan, who cares?

Of course it's like nothing ever done before. Marble armrests are stupid. Unless you're a marble statue of Lincoln, what sort of rest will your arms receive from a cold hunk of marble?

I'd be happy to support your work for $5 a month, which is what I give to various news organizations, Wikipedia, etc.

I don't need premium access to content, or any access at al. I simply want to support your work. Could you add this as an option?

I hope they'll take volunteers for the job. I'll be first in line.

The nota bene sort of takes the fun out of it.
December 19, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Hey, NYT. How about not so much with the games, fiddling while America burns, and more of doing what the NYT used to do---speaking truth to power, disregarding tyrants, and standing up for the essence of the American ideal without acting as though you're constantly afraid of another lawsuit.

Nice. Way to firmly state your opinion with the "sometimes", in case Trump sues.
December 7, 2025 at 12:53 PM
That's all right. He doesn't either.
