Always found this a bit of a simplistic approach to game design, founded on the idea that there are always design solutions to problems.
Every single game with fast travel will have started without it, then they added it as a response to player feedback.

Oh christ, thank god somebody said it - surely it can go in the non-free repo like Nvidia drivers at this point (disclaimer: I don’t know how Linux packages work, this is why I’m on Debian. I tried Arch and had a psychotic break and came to in a PC world holding a hammer)

I think one thing the 40k universe got right is that most humans are one slightly inflated sense of self-importance away from ‘cult leader’ at any given moment.

AMD tend to be superior value but do not peak as high.
