shame the browns aren't. bastards, used to get them at my pool in Canberra, the house backed on to a nature reserve and had a big garden.

Oh yah... I remember a story about a SADF patrol that killed a mamba on the way out, and on the way back the mate was waiting for them. And Boomslang are such pretty snakes.

Yeah, in Oz the Eastern Brown's are deadly, and they get aggressive during mating season. They'd eat mambas. Safest assumption is all spiders and snakes are deadly.

ok, that's cruel, but i wish I had known at 25 what I know now. Especially all the things not to waste time on...
I can still handle more than two glasses but it takes me two days to recover from what I used to be able to do for two days...

I am reluctant to rewatch some stuff. I rewatched Restless Natives and it wasn't nearly as good as my memory of it... but I might dig this one out.
