No idea what is up with #showmeyourknits this week- been driving all over the country (feels like) visiting people …neighbors had a baby recently, so I attempted a bear Bonnet! Fear the color is giving mouse instead of bear but that’s cute too, right? ;) #knitsky drops Nepal (wool+alpaca) soft❤️

as the base. chowder, one of my fave cartoon characters, is a fuschia fellow- and this hat off ravelry looks ideal! Dare I? May wear to a Halloween themed knitting event #showmeyourknits

Not spooky but trying to think of a relaxed costume and I thought I could use this fuschia pullover I knit

A #sock completed! Not yet blocked and not “perfect”, but still very happy with it. Started studying network stuff for my job and the writing of flash cards has kind of messed up my elbow, so I’m gonna take a break from both socks and writing #showmeyourknits #knitsky 🧶. May start a #sweater ! Lol

A #sock completed! Not yet blocked and not “perfect”, but still very happy with it. Started studying network stuff for my job and the writing of flash cards has kind of messed up my elbow, so I’m gonna take a break from both socks and writing #showmeyourknits #knitsky 🧶. May start a #sweater ! Lol
One last post for #showmeyourknits theme of care and joy - bit of self-care with my new neck light- actually progressing on these socks with dark yarn, whereas before it was very slow going!! Also my baby alpaca v neck pullover- started last year, finished a week or so ago. So soft!

Pullover I finished in September for my daughter off in a very wintry state for school! She just got it and loves it!! And it fits with the theme of joy and care. #showmeyourknits #knitsky #yarncrazy last year she was often cold Dec-Feb so this year we are doing better❄️

Woven stitch shawl, orangey merino from wool festival is fairly autumnal… +some other merinos from Lys. Glad to find a project using two yarns alternating every 2 rows to show off the single hand dyed merino hank. Stitch was fun, easy and looks cool imo. -#showmeyourknits #knitsky

This hat happens to be a scrappy knit, #showmeyourknits #knitsky - cream wool leftover from a skein one of my sisters sent - now this hat has gone back to her. Going to make 10 more of this hat, in love with how fast it was, and how cute the result was!

Have been out of it for a couple weeks- had a blast in Montreal, didn’t get any yarn in the end but got a cool sock book! Catching up on #showmeyourknits here is a hat I knit in 2 days and am very happy with -

On the positive side, wound up a massive ball of cotton yarn in blue and lavender #showmeyourknits #knitsky and cast on for a sleeveless top.

Icy blue ❄️ knit for hubby, but honestly, it is just driving me crazy - It’s just really darn hard so I am putting it down. I will probably frog back and try again maybe over the winter. #showmeyourknits #knitsky #tricoter at this point the offset of the rows is the main issue, ugh.

Ordered a few wks ago from this “magic scissors” shop, I think they are out of Spain, though this was shipped from Netherlands… I didn’t buy too much because I wasn’t entirely sure I would even get it l, but received what I ordered, at a very good price, bonus stitch markrs & ❤️ the witch! #knitsky

Tank, design by hook mountain handmade. Happy with fit, color and the little pollinators
