Dear goodness! I never gave that any thought! I am fortunate to have never had the experience. I suppose I have become quite boring in my old age, but even in my younger day such would certainly have never occurred to me. I’m not even a fan of the people who think it’s funny to scare their pets.

Sweeping generalizations: when I was really young, people dressed nicer in public, but more things were hidden. Now, more of those things are in the open, and I prefer it-but under the realm of “self-care“ are a bunch of people who think they don’t have to make an effort to be decent to others.
