well, took a bit longer than i wanted, buuuut first part of the project done...... now the second part.... rack mounted pc build..... hooo boy this part may be a bit thanks to the obvious going on. may end up closing on a home before that's done. XD #homelab

bleh, slow and steady. phase 1 of this homelab almost done (1u outlet strip, busbar, 2nd patch panel still otw), phase 2 is gonna be a loooot longer with the rack mount pc build >_< wallet gonna cry by then lol.

Winter project piece 1 of many finally came in. 18u 4post... shame to admit i wanted bigger for a larger project buuuut apartment only has a 15AMP limit ;_;. So new gaming/dev rig, switch, router, modem, and mini NAS setup will have to do.

Sooooo, having to learn Ubuntu 20.4 for some crazy PLC project.... Guess I know what I am requesting come renewal next year. Seeing it will be setting up, configuring and dealing with any issues on these things long term <_<.. even the cysec stuff

So help me god if we see a repeat from 2 years ago in LR/NLR tomorrow. I'll end up fast tracking my cysec wfh goals and move to NE or NW U.S.. Snow, Ice, can deal with being my lifestyle is stock up and neet, but growing ptsd from tor warnings since then... no, uhn uh. fug dat.

tfw: Catch someone in the act of closing out tickets with pending mitigations, and they claim it wasn't them.... like my brother in christ THE SYSTEM SAYS IT IS YOU! Wouldn't be as pissed if they documented proof the miti baseline was met, but nah, not even that. Wasn't even met.

ehhh, if we give christmas a rating, i'd give this one a 2 outta 10. 4 maybe cause of self gifting myelf a large chunk down on a car payment thanks to the injury settlement finally being done. But seems things back home goin downhill.

Weekend spent playing PoE on the ps4 just to pass time, only to pull out the tablet to keep track of a build guide and hunt trophies, leaving the living room a cabled up mess. Ohhh this is going to be a long week or so till my AIO replacment gets in. >_<
