The technology behind capturing, filtering, & replenishing our supply is impressive.

Housing is an important issue in our state. In my district, one way of providing safe/affordable housing is thru mobile homeownership. I was grateful to visit w/ a 3-generation owned mobile home facility & talk about their ability to provide such living standards to so many.

I was proud to join my colleagues in the #CaliforniaLegislativeBlackCaucus in announcing our Road to Repair bill package. My bill, SB 510, will have a complete & accurate K-12 curriculum regarding disparities in our history. It's important to have an accurate accounting of our history.

The #CityofGardena hosted their Annual #MLKDAY parade this past weekend after postponing it due to the wildfires. I was proud to participate in the family fun day, filled with community support, and the unity legacy of Dr. King.

Roscoe's House of Chicken N' Waffles founder Herbert Hudson is an iconic figure in the culinary world. I was proud to present Mr. Hudson a resolution at this year's #CaliforniaLegislativeBlackCaucus Business Brunch as part of #BlackHistoryMonth celebrations.
