I lived in NY for the first 27 years of my life, then moved to Michigan. It was incredible. You go somewhere new and it doesn’t feel familiar so you get to make it familiar in whatever way suits you best now, not whatever way happened decades ago.

The number one thing I've learned in my philosophy classes is that no one's had an original thought since long before language was invented and I think this is just more evidence of that. Time ain't real!
