I'm copying @just-raeli.bsky.social by making this a spindle project. she may have lapped me on knitting ginsan, but it may finally be my time to shine 🌟

a friend had some dyed Leicester longwool that she wanted to eventually spin (with the end goal of making gloves for her partner), but she knew it had to be blended and didn't have a drum carder

I am furiously trying to catch up to my students in time for session two of my intro to drop spindles class on thursday

we're using a kit from @akerworks.bsky.social and it's truly such a joy -- it has everything newbies need to spin & ply (not an ad, just happy customer over here)

it's snowing & I have lost my partner for the evening to new WoW content. the time is nigh for support spindles & tea.
