Totally agree! I definitely love that smart tactics are helpful (sometimes necessary) to accomplish goals. If I wanted no friction, I'd play Solitaire.

I'll happily second Abdi's suggestion of checking out @yoyomeg.bsky.social 's community. I'm by no means a regular, but every time I peek in now and again, it's always a good, healthy vibe.
There are more good people in our community than seems obvious, especially these days. Take care of yourself!

Yes, the parallels have been really disturbing for a while. My only surprise was how many knowingly chose this. I've estranged my own parents over it, as unthinkable as that sounds. Hard to lose family. But I will not look the other way when they choose hate and insanity. No good answers right now.

Totally agree. But its true purpose is misdirection, which so many of my fellow Americans fail to recognize (including my parents):
*Pay attention to this chaos over here while we're not doing this other more permanent shit to further fleece the American people.*

That's quite nice work, indeed! Colors and shades/opacities are nicely used to convey meaning, and for dome reason it always surprises me when angled column headers work so nicely. Love it!
