i think in this instance The Rando I Am Annoyed At was mistaking "a character expressing themselves differently in different circumstances" as "inconsistent writing"

there's also a baffling subsect of p5 fans who will argue until they die that Royal isn't canon. like what? we're losing the definition of "canon" at this point.

trying to refrain from going off on a tangent about how arguing against canonicity for things that are *literally in the Actual Game* is. absurd? there are some parts of downpour that i will except aren't canon (cough Inv cough) but all those are? extras? and often Obviously Meant To Be Jokes?
