When health insurance premiums double, families lose their health care. It's that simple.

We need to reopen the government and protect health care. Both issues are urgent. Both need bipartisan action now.

Was great to have @RepDavid in New Hampshire for a bipartisan Joint Economic Committee event on cutting-edge innovation and research happening here. NH businesses are driving innovation that is preparing us for the future, safeguarding our national security, and helping us (cont in image...)

The right to collectively bargain strengthens the middle class & workforces.

The President's move to take that right away from VA employees, many of whom are veterans themselves, will make it harder for the VA to attract and retain the high-quality workers veterans deserve (cont in image...)

I visited HealthFirst in Laconia and heard directly from providers how Republican Medicaid cuts are already putting health care at risk in rural Granite State communities – including forcing the upcoming closure of the HealthFirst clinic in Canaan.

President Trump's reckless tariffs are a national sales tax, driving up costs for families and small businesses.

I will continue to stand up against the President's tariffs.

Trump's broad tariffs go into effect, just as economic pain is surfacing
The White House said that starting just after midnight that goods from more than 60 countries and the European Union would face tariff rates of 10% or higher.

Meals on Wheels of Grafton County exemplifies the Granite State spirit of generosity and service, and it was great to join volunteers there today. I will keep fighting against the cuts in the GOP budget bill that will leave more Granite Staters hungry.

Planned Parenthood provides Granite Staters with affordable health care.

I heard from providers and staff today about how the Trump Administration's efforts to rip funding away from Planned Parenthood threaten cancer screenings and other essential health care for women.

I stopped by HealthFirst Family Care in Laconia to hear about the critical services they provide for Granite Staters.

Community health centers are at risk — and one HealthFirst location has already announced its upcoming closure — because of the Republican budget bill.

Vaccines save lives. This is just the latest in a long line of reckless, dangerous decisions by Secretary Kennedy that put Americans’ public health and safety at risk.

National Night Out is a great way for New Hampshire Police Departments to build relationships with their communities, including last night in Manchester.

Thank you to New Hampshire law enforcement for all of the work you do to keep us safe.

Great to stop by the New Hampshire State Veterans Advisory Committee summer cookout tonight and hear about the work they are doing to support Granite State veterans.

The Congressional Delegation and I are pushing the Air National Guard to exempt critical public safety roles – like fire fighters & air traffic controllers - from the Administration’s planned civilian employee layoffs.

I will keep standing up to keep NH and our military safe.

Canada is New Hampshire's top trading partner, our neighbor, and our friend. But make no mistake: Trump's annexation talk has real consequences. Canadian tourism to NH is down 30% this summer.

That's money out of the pockets of NH workers & small business owners.

Great news: My bipartisan bill to streamline VA health appointment scheduling recently passed out of committee. This will create a one-stop solution to set up appointments with multiple doctors.

I will keep working to get this bill signed into law.

Smithsonian removes Trump from impeachment exhibit in American history museum
A temporary placard, on display since 2021, described the president's historic impeachments. Officials said the exhibit was restored to an earlier version following a review of legacy content.

Americans are rightly concerned about how Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum are increasing their already-high grocery bills. That’s why I’m asking Amazon to share more about the impact tariffs are having on their prices.

On the 60th anniversary of Medicare and Medicaid, we should be celebrating how these programs help Granite Staters access affordable health care.

Instead, we’re fighting against devastating Republican cuts that will rip care away from millions to give tax breaks to the wealthy.

Did you know that the FDA hasn’t approved a new sunscreen active ingredient since 1999?

My bipartisan bill to fix that just passed out of committee – because you shouldn’t have to go all the way to South Korea to get the best sunscreen!

Mary Duquette of Hopkinton & Myra Nikitas of Nashua visit Nashua schools as part of their Traveling Tooth Fairies program, providing cavity prevention care to students. Mary & Myra’s commitment to helping people get dental care is why I named them July’s Granite Staters of the Month.
