On this day, we remember and mourn the lives lost to anti-transgender hate and violence. We will never forget them, and we will never stop working to protect our transgender neighbors from hate and from harm.

As Congress considers blocking states from regulating AI, Minnesotans are already seeing real-world harm targeted at our children, and even our elections. DFLers are standing up to prevent these abuses when the federal government won’t.

States must retain the power to protect their people.

Trump’s new caps on student loans will stop people from going to college and pursuing fields like healthcare where we already have critical shortages. Why would we punish people for wanting an education? #mnleg #studentloans #highereducation

The federal deal to end the shutdown will make hemp-derived THC products in Minnesota essentially illegal, jeopardizing over 5,000 licensed businesses and $200 million a year.

This is a reckless interference into Minnesota's marketplace and Congress needs to fix it before irreparable harm is done.

We are grateful today and every day for the sacrifice and service of our veterans. We can never repay the debt we owe to our veterans, but we need to have their backs. The Senate DFL Will always support the needs of veterans and their families.

In the richest country in the world, the courts had to tell the Donald Trump that he couldn’t let people starve.

Trump is rolling back protections we passed in 2024 that kept medical debt off credit reports.

As healthcare costs rise under the Republican big bill and tax credits for working families expire, more Minnesotans will face medical bills they can’t afford, and now, that debt could wreck their credit.

Minnesota is stepping up to support families as the federal shutdown threatens food assistance for 440,000 Minnesotans.

Today, Governor Walz announced a $4 million in emergency food shelf funding so Minnesota families can put food on the table.

Tump is focused on demolishing the White House to build himself a ballroom, while his shutdown is stalling food support and heating assistance for everyday Americans.

We are focused on the hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans impacted by Trump’s policies, and the 20,000 people going without pay.

The Trump shutdown is delaying funding that helps Minnesotans pay their heating bills, but there's plenty of money to go around for the Trump family, billionaires, and to bail out Argentina.

Congressional Republicans need to end the shutdown and prioritize the needs of Minnesotans.

Last week the Senate Capital Investment Committee embarked on its tour of Northeastern Minnesota, and heard directly from residents and communities about their local infrastructure needs. The best way to learn about what Minnesotans need than by meeting face to face and hearing directly from them.

SNAP helps keep people fed. Trump’s budget would cut food support for 45,000 Minnesotans and raise local taxes to feed fewer people.

These cuts won't fix anything, they’ll just make hunger worse for working families, seniors, and kids across Minnesota. #mnleg #foodinsecurity #hungerawareness

Trump just canceled $464M in clean energy grants for Minnesota, threatening key transmission projects and driving up costs for northern Minnesota families.

Sen. Hauschild is calling Rep. Stauber to demand these partisan cuts be reversed. Minnesotans shouldn’t pay the price for Washington’s games.
