American culture has been to a degree shaped by fantasists: the Wild West (settled for thousands of years), Disneyland (fake castles), consumer culture and its selling tools TV, magazines, social media. Wut? Also why loneliness is so prevalent - other people challenge the fantasies.

The American and South African men “in charge” in the US for the moment are weak and cowards. They are afraid of women, People of Color and hungry children. All this wish for violence from the American alt right is a fetish and nothing more. They would crumble if left unguarded for a moment.

Ding ding ding! America calling. It’s so bad here that they don’t even want to tell us. Western North Carolina saw whole towns swept away. LA like an apocalyptic movie. Insurance companies in the US working overtime to deny flood and fire insurance. And watch for the land grabs by shell companies!
