I have been at the bedside of many WWII veterans at the end-of-life. This breaks my heart.

As a board certified music therapist myself, I totally agree. These cuts and shameful and hit our most vulnerable populations that benefit from and NEED music therapy. These programs in the VA are so important and have such impact on people's lives. Music therapy is very much a needed service.

I saw Parade the touring broadway musical last night and man was that powerful. Highly recommend seeing it.

After seeing "Come From Away" on Friday, I was overcome with emotion from the memories of 9/11 and how generous our Canadian neighbors were. They didn't have to be. The booing of the anthem feels deserved based upon recent events.
