This really doesn’t matter in the whole, but it drives me batty that so many of these techbros steal things from old sci-fi and fantasy. Like they aren’t even creative enough to come up with their own ideas but have to co-opt others.

This nails it. It needs to be communicated that America is an ongoing project. Yes, we have done immeasurable harm, but the hope is to continually do better. We can do better.

I am 100% sure that the Pope prefers Lou Manatis to all other pizzas. I think it is telling that he trusted a Cubs fan. I think that this is the surprising part of the story.

I am one of the oldest millennials as well and I work with a lot of young people (25-35) It is surprising to me how much they try to avoid reading.

Im not a coder, but these LLMs quality on so much other stuff is so poor. I don’t have a lot of hope it’ll get better.
