A semiotic triadomaniac. Gimme gimme gimme them emotional, energetic and logical interpretants.
some legwork to find out why a rando has blocked you for no reason, and finding out that the reason is that you're not Estonian.

In conclusion, you have my condolences. Maybe next time Fortuna scatters her fate-cards on the ground and you get to choose your next life, pick being an Estonian :)

"Blocked me first" and "Blocking me for no good reason" types - that's fair. It doesn't feel good to be added to "whining idiots" and "deceitful listers" - based on what?

The funniest one was a blocklist named "Pedophiles" and I was the only user added. Cool.

So anyway, thanks for doing at least

I wrote an explanation. I'm glad at least one person found it, and it explained the situation for them.

Others were not so happy with it. They've added me to MAGA lists (I'm very anti-MAGA). bots, trolls, spam, "worst users", etc. The ones I do condone are "Reciprocal blocklist", "Mutual block",

And that wouldn't have been as easy to automate.

I don't regret what I've done. People ideally shouldn't feel any kind of way about being blocked by a rando with their own obscure motives.

But I do see from the blocklists I've been added to in retaliation that it has caused some fuss. That's why

everybody. Now a block-list named "non-Estonians" is a great idea, and would have caused much less offense if I had done that. Sadly the "add to list" menu is very slow to load (I know because I also have a list of Estonians, and it sometimes takes up to half a minute to load the "add to list" btn).

This just makes it that much more easier to discover Estonian users. I also have an account that blocks all Estonians, which I use to periodically search "lang: et" so that if someone posts something in Estonian language, whom I'm not aware of already, I'll find them, too. The point is just to find

operation down. I still manually block non-Estonian users if they follow Estonians or Estonians follow them. That's because this is how I find new Estonian users: I periodically check whom Estonians follow or who follow Estonians, and if there's a new user (has a blue "follow" button) it stands out.

a user's following list whom no Estonian was following, and just let the program run for a few days. I did this especially with users with 10k+ followers who mostly post those awful political propaganda images (one sentence about Trump or whatever without any alt text), but then the update shut that

Hey! Sorry for the belated response - I just now thought of searching my name.

I stopped mass-blocking after an update to bsky which did away with blocked users automatically disappearing. I used to run a program that automatically clicks on specific positions on the screen after a delay, just open
