It makes sense imo
And following that it would be DIS which I think is a good abbreviation.

Bei uns an der Uni ist das (zumindest in unseren Fachbereich) völlig üblich, Doktorandis, PostDocs und Profs zu haben die nur englisch und kein Deutsch sprechen
