Visited the new Tusitala exhibition at NLS yesterday & was immediately transported to a previous life, in which I spent a lot of time with RLS-related collections. Had a week off and inevitably spent it hurtling through a to-do list - but mornings at the allotment haven’t felt like a chore. These places tell a fascinating social/sustainable history, and yet are largely undocumented and in constant flux. Back to a different kind of ephemerality next week!

A bit late, but finally made it to Women in Revolt! (with my two mini members of the sisterhood) today. Refreshing to see an exhibition which is so irreverent and angry, and so open about the challenges of moving beyond the canon. More of this, please!

Reflecting on an inspiring day at The Baltic - a truly inclusive space and programme, which other cultural organisations could learn a lot from. And managed five hours (!) exploring with two young kids, so they must be doing something right! 👍
