After reading that, I can say for sure there's definitely at least one person suffering from TDS today..

I think that's the point at this stage. Vance and Miller need him to either die or be found indisputably medical incompetent if they're going to retain MAGA support. Trump needs to be "gone" for their next stage.

Trump's rambling insanity is a smoke screen. He doesn't even know what's happening.

I also liked:

"Nobody has come across the border illegally, can you believe it?"

Followed by:

"Drug dealers are crossing the border illegally"

I particularly enjoyed the (paraphrasing) "Look at this guy, 24 convictions. He's no good for our country. We need to get him out."

What about someone with 34 convictions, Donald?

It's not *really* open source.. I don't want to get into the semantics of it, but AOSP is becoming increasingly closed.

LineageOS or GrapheneOS (if you're using a Pixel, ironically) are your best alternatives.

He's so insane.

I hate Trump. I'd quite happily sit back and watch him die, even if I had the means to save him.

He openly states that he feels the same way about NATO, and yet, he *still* has to make the statement that he has done more for the alliance than anyone in history?

It can't be both.
January 19, 2026 at 5:20 PM
I'm guessing many/some people have been saying he should?

Moved to Mint. Never going back.

He's not a person.

I think people are still assuming that rule of law or the Constitution are somehow still relevant.

He appears to have total control of the military, a paramilitary funded to the tune of $75bn and a 40% approval rating.

He's going to do whatever he wants, and I'm not sure what would stop him.

"Over half, 56%, of Americans said the ICE agent in Minneapolis killing Good in her car was an inappropriate use of force, according to the poll conducted by CNN"

So, 44% of respondents to a CNN poll *don't* think it was an inappropriate use of force?

I truly despair.

Same.

50+ visits in my lifetime, I've been to 46 of the lower 48.

I loved the place, a second home.

Took my daughter to NYC for her first trip in October 2024.

I even extorted a MAGA for a very expensive Macallan in Trump's bar by posing as one of their own.

Fun trip, but it was my swan song.

While banning it doesn't accomplish anything from a practical perspective (Is there anyone in the UK who isn't using a VPN already?) it would be really nice to see Starmer grow a set and do it anyway.

He won't, though.

Spineless Trump panderer extraordinaire, who drinks Capri Sun from a glass.

I don't think Putin would celebrate the idea of a Europe united.

I think he likes the idea of an impotent Europe dependent upon an abusive partner who would feed them to the dogs.

A genuinely strategically unified Europe would be orders of magnitude more powerful than Russia.

It's a sensationalist right-wing shit rag.

For example: Whenever they post a story of a young woman who has been murdered, they trawl her Instagram for bikini pictures to include in the story.

This.
January 11, 2026 at 2:02 AM
I'm European.

Reading back my comment, though. In might sound like an American saying Europe can't be trusted. I'm not.

I'm saying, as a European, I think the time is maybe right for an alliance which doesn't include the US.

Sorry folks, I think it's going to be a long way back from this one.
January 10, 2026 at 11:53 PM
Came here to say this.

GO PACK GO.
January 10, 2026 at 11:50 PM
I'm beginning to wonder if the end of NATO would really be a terrible thing at this point?

Europe has been too dependent on the US for too long. They cannot be trusted now.

I'd prefer things to have been as they were but, since they aren't, maybe Europe needs to learn to stand on her own two feet.

The "Representative Rate" on my Amex is 704.6% APR which is a giggle.

I've not had to pay for a flight in years since I started using it.

It's actually the last major "American" thing I'm using at this point. It'll be going at the end of the membership year, sadly.

A man's got to have a code.

Waiting for the Epstein files to deal the coup de grâce would be lazy.

If there *are* midterms you need to vote, but I'm not convinced there will be.
January 8, 2026 at 10:08 PM
He doesn't even need to justify it. He'll just say it was stolen and continue on.

There's only one way it's going to end for the Project 2025 lot, and something tells me they'll happily take it all the way to the Führerbunker if they have to.
January 8, 2026 at 9:54 PM
While nothing would make me happier, my point is that I don't believe that will be allowed to happen.

He and his so supporters are coming out in support of an ICE agent who murdered an American mother outside her child's school today, and trying to make her out as the villain into the bargain.
January 8, 2026 at 9:50 PM
That assumes most MAGA don't want this, whereas I'm pretty sure they do.

They know it's lies and they don't care about the words when the actions are delivering what they want.

Trump is doing exactly what millions of Americans want him to be doing.
January 8, 2026 at 8:05 PM
There is literally *nothing* the Epstein files could contain which changes anything.

If he's all over them, the rest of Project 2025 already know and don't care.

Praying for a silver bullet is actively detrimental.

I'm amazed anyone even thinks the midterms matter.

It's already too late.
