We are the ones who were either asleep at the wheel, or too comfortable to not fight hard enough. My heartbreak whisked into a bowl of guilt gets poured into a hot pan everyday. But. My 22yr old lad & his cohort are having none of it. They’re smart & never to be underestimated. Viva Revolution.

Recently used private health for a series of spinal surgeries. Advantage - able to choose surgeon. Doesn’t cover all, like anaesthetist. 🙄. Have thought of ditching. Don’t get me started on home insurance. Was with NRMA for 38 years. Tried to make a simple water damage claim. Nope. I’ve left them.

Looks like a Glasgow school nouveau pattern. Have been looking through Mackintosh designs. There are plenty similar, but I can’t find exactly that. Yet…. 😁

I started the audiobook today. It’s harrowing. But like 4 Corners last night, a necessary topic to not look away from. Low people in high places using people as prey. Makes your blood run cold. Hope her family are ok.

So nice to see the youngans push against the rhetoric that the young people don’t know who Joni Mitchell is. These fabulous kiddies do their homework. Play live. And write everyday. Gives me power. Bless ‘em. They’re so committed. As is their cohort. My heart sings to see their drive. It lives on.

It’s a scam. Many of them ask where you’re going & will refuse you if it doesn’t suit. I got charged $70 to go from Hickson Road to Leichhardt (less than 8k’s).Tried to get one after Oils show @ The Hordern. One after the other, only offering meter off, flat rate of $80. Both scenarios common.
