nothing like venting your frustrations about a game via your fan fiction
“Oh come on the zone got captured again?! I’ve been away for literally ten seconds!” Four yelled, frustrated tears entering his eyes as he watched another swarm of those flying sprinklers cover the zone across from where he was standing. He jumped onto the dash-pad, flinging himself to the other side yet again. He quickly took out the Jelletons and recaptured it, just in time to watch even more sprinklers take the other. He just stared at it for a moment before screaming in frustration, throwing his Splattershot to the floor. Then while he was distracted, a pack of massive Jelletons ganged up on him and he was promptly splatted. He stumbled as he reformed on the starting platform, the floor now cleared of ink and the timer reset back to thirty ticks.

They sat themself in the professor’s creaky old office chair, powering on the PC. They were greeted by a photo of the professors son, Arven, set as the desktop wallpaper. They froze, an icy chill running through them as the realisation hit them. He doesn’t know what happened. He doesn’t know that his mother is gone. And how were they meant to tell him? He shouldn’t even be aware of their existence, so anything but seeing him face-to-face would just come off as a cruel prank. And Area Zero was strictly off limits, even to researchers after word of the accident got out, so it would be near impossible for him to come down anyway. Sada shook their head, gripping their hair tensely. “No… No, I can’t just not say anything. He deserves to know, he has to know.” They muttered to themself, staring at that photo. At the child they had to look in the eye and explain themself to. “I… I just need to work.” They whispered, opening up the Pokedex editor.
