I've started developing my own OC Team and it really drives home that, for all their faults, the writers of RWBY created "Cardin Winchester," a name that perfectly fits the character, is a bird pun, is a color pun, works for an acronym on a team of bird/color puns, and is a reference to Joan of Arc.

I think it's a shame that Roman and Watts never interacted in canon. They're the exact sort of people to just get under each other's skin, and it gives Cinder a way to play her allies off each other, a good way to show that she's still got her teeth in the later Volumes.
