The highlight of the night was meeting the family of Cesare Bianchi, one of my book’s protagonists. Three generations of the family were there, including Bianchi’s 89-year-old son who I interviewed for the book. I was honoured to tell Bianchi’s story and indebted to the family for their assistance.
