That is a big pile of subwassertang. Perfect place for babies to grow up in. Safety and lots of food. It's a weird plant. People aren't really sure where it comes from. It just showed up in the trade in Germany some years ago. But it was collected from somewhere. It's some kind of aquatic moss.

This is what happens when you have a 10 gallon aquarium by a window and all you do is water changes every couple weeks. I've moved it so I'm looking at it every day and I will fix it. There is an apistogramma and ember tetras n there somewhere.

Other than being dusty they look almost new. No tears or defects. I don't ever use them on concrete so the tread is doing really well.
