Omg w how widespread they are I’m sure you can find a flock in your area! I keep a bag of cracked corn in my car for whenever I come across a gaggle of ‘em while I’m out. Even less tame ones (like the little group in this earlier vid) eventually get curious enough to come over w enough patience :)

HIGHLY recommended activity if you can find a flock in your area. Really heals the soul. Here’s an additional video for you of 30 minutes earlier when I was still trying to get the wood duck to join.

FEED THAT DUCK FRIDAY

I spotted a Wood Duck hen among the local mallards and immediately ran to grab some cracked corn in an attempt to entice her into coming over. Isn’t she so cute.
