I had a long e-mail interaction with Moises trying to inform them of this problem, and I was not at all sure they understood it. The chord diagram is new and unique to the phone/pad version, but the person who coded the disappearing/reappearing pause button didn't think it all the way through.

Instead you have to touch the chord diagram once to bring up the pause button, then press the pause button. Problem is touching the chord diagram also makes playhead jump to where ever you touched. Doesn't even work well if you touch right where the playhead currently is unless you get lucky.

It was actually pretty peaceful, with all the human drivers not really having any trouble treating the dark stoplights as a four-way stop, and calmly waiting for pedestrians leaving an event nearby.
