maybe, marginally. from the statement, wiener is fine with khalil’s abduction & summary deportation but worries that such measures in the future may be used against someone worthy. it’s really a despicable statement if you think about it

legally, my answer is: i don’t know. i havent looked into it. non-legally: i know the city has delay implementation when these types of measures are challenged, like when prop c was. there’s a ripeness/standing issue but not sure if that applied here.
