daiso pour over coffee dripper. it makes a decent cup, but it’s still bested by coffee staples like the v60, aeropress, etc. for less than $4, it’s fun and gets the job done. might make a cool gift for people who like coffee.

a co-worker once said drinking coffee from “mystery” beans would turn her into a llama. this morning, made a frankenstein blend from leftover coffee beans and called the drink super llama. it was good. too bad we’ll never know how to exactly make it again.

the #arcane season 2 finale is one of the best episodes of tv i watched this year. i’m convinced fortiche should do a mistborn animated series from the amazing work they did on arcane. so many good moments in “the dirt under your nails.” rating: 15/10.

brought out the french press earlier and tried out the james hoffman method. it was a different process, but ended up tasting good. this caribou coffee press is in need of an upgrade. the espro looks nice.

a random lady at whole foods had recommended this coffee: groundwork - organic bitches brew. i picked it up because i liked the yellow bag and thought the coffee had a funny name. brewed it today on my origami dripper. it’s a really good dark roast, and helped to set the tone for the morning.
