But I think this and Seasons are different enough to warrant holding them up on their own. But in the end I think the connectivity between the two games ages poorly.

The password system is interesting but I think ultimately holds this game back from being everything it can be. Without using the password at the beginning of the game it’s impossible to 100%. Obviously, the point is for this to be one part of a double feature.

The last few dungeons of this game are a let down. Design was all over the place, especially Jabu Jabu. At this point the time mechanic is getting a little played out. Still, all and all a great experience that I don’t think can compete with the juggernauts that came before it. Nayru can get it tho.

…on its own. My only complaint is the dungeon design is lacking. There is only 4, which is a huge departure from the Zelda norm, and they are very small to compensate for the time limit. That being said what they were able to create within those limitations is such a unique experience.

… the best the serious has had so far. The timeline system was such an ingenuous idea, especially in 2000. Knowing that NPCs are at different spot at different times of day blew my mind growing up. I think this game gets passed over because of how much of a juggernaut OoT is but this game is…

Also, my one complaint are the Ice arrows. By the time you get them they are worthless. But I guess getting a pointless ice based weapon is keeping with Zelda tradition. Looking at you Ice Rod.
