I received my B.S. in Psychology from Colorado State University and my M.S. in Applied Psychology from Portland State University. I'm a PhD Student in Community Psychology, focusing on Latino immigrant family well-being - body, mind, and spirit.

I received my B.A. in Psychology from Portland State University (PSU). I'm in my second year in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at PSU.

My passion is to serve my community, challenge systemic oppression, and move forward toward liberation.

Saludos! My name is Juana Garcia, and I'm proud to be Mexicana-Mixteca Ñuu Savi. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and have lived in Oregon for more than 25 years. I'm a proud parent of two young adults. In my free time, I like to hike, be in nature, and spend time with my two dogs.
