It's true, but they're also available as a print-and-cut PDF, it just asks more work from at least one player. Doing that alone is just harder to sell in the wider market (such as friendly local game stores).

We’ve been doing it at Bully Pulpit Games with Bits-and-Mortar for years. It’s a great way to support retail stores and to add value to print sales.
