I just watched a Youtube video of RFK Jr putting methylene blue into his drink on a flight. Then I hopped over to Wikipedia, where I found this lovely picture of a normal human brain (L) and a brain of a frequent user of methylene blue. So many questions and jokes came into my head. 😲

So my in-laws bought a Mahjong table and I have been trying to learn how to play. The first time I played I still felt overwhelmed, even though I have played Shanghai rummy since I was an 8 Year-old kid. There aren't as many similarities as I thought.

OK I am taking a break from my rage-posting about Trump 2.0 and focusing on something far more important, family. This has been a big surprise since I moved (not permanently) into my new apartment in Dongkou. This is co-owned by Mei (my wife), Zhou (brother-in law), Jun Jun (sister-in-law) and me.

I'm out at my local coffee shop enjoying all my great Christmas presents today. I am watching Bill Maher on my lovely convertible tablet, laptop and handheld. Then also playing some Steam games, Suyu and RPCS3 on my new Steam Deck. Don't tell Nofundo (Nintendo) about Suyu. 😂

RIP David Lynch. It seems all my friends are posting about Twin Peaks, but allow me to offer these three films as Lynch's greatest works. Elephant Man and Dune had a great influence on me in my youth and I recently, finally saw Eraserhead. As George W Bush once said, "That's some weird shit." 😆

It's here and it's beautiful! 😍I finally saved enough money to get the limited edition OLED Steam Deck. This one is second hand, but it had some sweet games already installed on the Windows side. I love being able to dual boot! Windows 11 or Steam OS, sir? Well I'll take both please! 2TB SSD!

Just a few pictures as I reflect upon the last semester. My 12 graders are taking their computer programming semester final on the left and the 10th graders are taking their math semester final on the right. This week has been busy but smooth, no surprises.

As I rang in the new Year, I realized that my life is much better in Shijiazhaung in the second part of 2024 than it was in the first half in Wuzhen. So Mei and I celebrated at a wonderful Indian restaurant called Lotus Garden, just down the street from our apartment. The chicken vindaloo is tasty!

So Jonesy has been "broken" since we brought him to Shijiazhaung. Now we finally got him to the vet to get fixed. It was becoming difficult to keep him indoors without him scratching up the couch or getting the zoomies every night.

BlueSky should be renamed as Tinder for cats. 🐱😆I was going through my feed and saw about 10 cat pictures in 5 minutes. Jonesy says, "Where are all the lady-cats?" 😍🐱😄
