Lol, I thought something similar a while back
A screenshot of Discord, reading: woke up early by accident before I go back to sleep, am thinking about: villain character that sinks tons of money into giving tinies civil rights, and her secret reason for doing this is that it's specifically for the purpose of being able to feel like she's doing something evil and malicious and illegal when she kidnaps one right now it just feels like she's doing them a favour when she abducts one and that's no fun! It doesn't even legally count as abduction so there's no thrill, nothing to hide!
