Hi! Anyone else in the Jewbelt in Metro-Detroit/ S.E. Michigan (Michigas)? Finally moved here last year after years of being the lonely Jew in places like Kansas, Texas, etc. It's so Jewy that the local Dunkin Donuts is kosher, and the local bookstore carries Daniel Kahn on vinyl! 😀

Thank you for the labor that you put into running Muppet History. It really does act as its own series of "hundreds of small actions," and, like Robin's halfway-stair, it is a liminal place of beauty.

Happy (belated) birthday, sir! Congrats on continuing to be awesome, and thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us!

[ side note: still waiting for the day when I wake up to find you've chosen to apply your talents to something from either Watership Down or Harold & Maude ;) ]

"A positive change--albeit overdue, slow, and not without blunders--is taking place in mainstream Western theatre."

(Note #1: not a "Jewish book," but I'm a Jew, and it's about theatre, so still pretty Jewish ;) ) (Note #2: just published [this month!] by Routledge).
