i was once invited to participate in a brainstorming session at my (now) former workplace to determine methods for attracting the best candidates for roles at the organization. popular ideas included massive invasions of privacy via social media to find out info about candidates personal lives.

I made a machine steal the work of a real human being. It's almost as if the stolen work it regurgitated seems like it was written by a real human being. Instead of giving that credit to the breathing person it was stolen from... perhaps the theft machine is actually alive??

renting alone, at my age, in this market, makes me want to kill myself. seriously. in the entire region of my city there are 10, count them 10, out of hundreds of listings, that are my current rent amount (which is already absurd) or cheaper. how the fuck am i supposed to live.

several lightbulbs in my apartment are controllable LEDs. every few months one will drop its settings.
it'll turn on, go dark after a couple of seconds, and start strobing shortly after.
all of this to say: i don't appreciate my bathroom light doing this immediately after i rewatched the ring.
