I’m still in disbelief we are going to have to live alongside this stuff and the people attached to it.

This is Phoebe. She’s been semi-feral for 14 years. She was an emaciated stray & I had to trap her to get her help. Here she voluntarily came to sit in my lap (with another cat). She still runs when I try to approach her standing up but she lets me pet her and comes to me sitting down. Progress. ✔️

On Dec. 20th, I had to say goodbye to my magical, nearly 15 year-old baby, Olive. To say that I’m shattered is an understatement. She was the most darling, lovable, silly, and sensitive friend I’ve ever had. I have other animals, and I love them all dearly, but Olive and I had a special connection.

I just had to put my oldest dog down and I am not okay.
Olive, I wish I could have gone with you. I will love you forever. 🩷🌸

This little beast named Olive gave me a health scare today and had me driving with my flashers on to the pet ER. She soon recovered from a brief episode of collapse she’d never had before. Tomorrow she goes to her regular vet for further testing. 🌺
