Reluctantly middle aged 💾. Imma post like you’re sitting next to me while we watch bad TV. Deal.

Can someone remind me? Which void are we meant to be screaming into?
I cannot watch people do avoidable dumb things on TV. I had to stop watching an episode of #himym because Ted was gonna do something dumb for 15 seconds.

Instead, I just cried my way through almost two hours of “Come See Me in the Good Light.”

That makes sense.

Side note. It’s beautiful.

Why do the performance readings of all poems sound the same? Can spoken word not have other cadences?

Dear Ted, who’s going over to the apartment of another woman he likes because his girlfriend in Germany didn’t call him,
Did you try calling her?
Love,
Sara

I assume the people posting personal stories with some sort of lesson to LinkedIn in are either consultants or on the job market. Is that a safe assumption?

Ted’s girlfriend has arranged to call him from Germany at 11 pm his time? So. 5 am her time? I don’t think the #himym people actually looked up how times zones worked before writing that.

The actor who plays Victoria does not want to be kissing people as part of her job.

Ted. There’s a third option going and considered. You can move to Germany.

I’ve been experiencing this form of tinnitus for a month+ now. Also. My left arm has been numb and tingly. But it’s the ear that’s really been bothering me. I finally make a doctors appointment about and now my ear is fine. At least my arm is still tingling?

In this episode of #himym we learn a couple who have been together for nine years have never peed in front of each other. And I call bullshit.

I honestly thought she was gonna say poop. Cause I believe that. But pee? That’s just unrealistic.

Book #49 of 2025. This book took too long to finish. It just didn’t draw me in or along. I remember liking Roach’s stuff. But this was not my favorite.

Everyone being questioned by detectives on L&O always has something more important to be doing than answer the questions.

Who are these people who get woken up in the middle of the night and need to check a watch on their bedside table to get the time? Do they not have phones?

End of day at a conference. Put on my jammy jams. Watch SVU on the USA HD channel that plays SVU 24 hours a day. With an overpriced crappy beer from the hotel store. What more could one ask for?

So we shut the government down to do something about healthcare costs. And now we’ll agree to reopen the government, having done nothing about healthcare costs? Am I reading this right?

Yet another podcast where they interview famous actor & talk in awe about some other famous actor who—what their tone indicates is unusual—gets to know the entire crew. And I’m just like. What sort of complete assholes are most actors, that getting to know your coworkers is some exceptional feat?

Book #49 of 2025…again. At some point, updating info on a book I’d read years ago, it was updated to this year. And so I skipped ahead in my numbering. This is really the 49th book I’ve read this year.

First jury summons ever. It’s been 27 years since I turned 18, and I’ve been a citizen with a drivers license eligible to vote the whole time.

Also. I want to see this wheel.

8:30am. 50 hours and 30 minutes after the first food order was delivered, a second order finally sparked retrieval. Porch watch is over.

Whole. E. Shit. Y’all. Major porch watch development. A second order of food has just been delivered to sit next to the one that’s been there for 50 hours. Marking this at 8 am. Let’s see how long this lasts.
