That being said, her attempt to run such a wide-brush progressive campaign while appearing to not actually believe in the policies she was advocating for is part of what doomed her 2019 campaign.

💯 while hindsight is 20-20, it seems likely she would have faired better running a progressive campaign during an anti-establishment year and the concerns of the electorate over the flip-flops from 2019 were less about the policies and more about coding “typical politician”
