Silksong’s “not so optional” sidequests are so baffling to me. They’re slop at its finest, boring open world-tier filler content that 99% of the time adds absolutely nothing to the experience.
I didn’t unlock Act 3 yet and at this point I don’t care anymore.

Difficulty escalation when it comes to sequels is nothing new per se, but you can tell this started off as a DLC that was meant to be played sooner than 8 years after the base game.

Among the games I played early this year, I gotta say NINE SOLS is probably my 2025 GOTY. It's ridiculously well-made and a MUST-PLAY for any Metroidvania fan. The Sekiro-like combat system is satisfying to master and the game is as brutal as it is gorgeous.
