Hegseth and the Trump admin simply DO NOT understand military culture, especially within the senior ranks. They will not succeed. Yes, there may be right leaning people in the military, but the sense of duty to Constitution and country is incredibly strong. I say this as a 20 year retired veteran.

We have to start asking ourselves truly tough questions, like how far we are willing to go to protect our county. Most of us know what the worst case scenario might look like. We have to start coming to terms with the fact that civil war may be where we are headed.

While I don’t necessarily believe there’s anything nefarious about this, I’m honestly getting exhausted seeing our elected officials telling us what we already know. I don’t expect them to be perfect, but at least attempt to articulate some kind of call to action. Like, you got anything? Any ideas?
