I took off a week between jobs to decompress, do some house projects, and learn how to do stained glass! It was a cool hobby to learn away from screens.

Feeling good now that my first splash animation is working for Sōsh! I used Spline for the animation, just like the original camera icon.

When I was a kid, the cheapest way to have a compilation of good bops was to buy movie soundtracks. Daddy Day Care and Shrek 2 were my absolute favorite.

A teammate was talking about bringing more motion into our products and it made me wonder what is possible directly in Figma.

I was able to use components + smart animate to show off a potential animation for number changes. It wasn't easy, but seems like it could be componentized for repeated use:

Having an experience be opt-in vs opt-out is always an interesting discussion. For example with Sweetgreens, I will always opt-in to their bread experience.
