It said it in the article. ESPN covered a hard foul for a week. They still barely covered Clark unless it was drama. And everyone loves Paige so no drama to cover. They aren't covering wnba games but they will show up for *fights".

I listened to a podcast with the authors of this book and even in hindsight they didn't have any answers but expected every decision to be right during. About the only thing they said that made sense is we need to learn from COVID.
