- metal latches on joycons
- new shells
next up is a potential digitizer replacement (if it works) and a new front plate (which requires me to take out the screen anyway)

y’know for anyone out there who’s afraid of their original joycons not working with the switch 2, there’s nothing stopping nintendo, hori, or whoever from making an adapter that lets the joycon connect to the switch 2
