You, as the consumer, don't get to dictate what art should cost. You only get to decide whether or not you'd like to buy it. I will happily pay $80 for a game I'm really excited to play. Stop bullying the industry into fitting your needs. Simply buy it or don't.

Games continue to evolve and grow, and new tech allows developers to try things we never thought possible 10 years ago. Yet you want the prices to stay the same? In addition, you also want no micro-transactions, no DLC, and you want everyone on the team to be paid fairly. Those ideas clash HARD.

Not really a traditional TTRPG, more of a board game, but we've had a lot of fun playing the Slay the Spire board game as if it was a TTRPG and kind of using it like a physical campaign guide.

Specifically, 4-player splitscreen on a 10in TV/VCR combo that took you about an hour to figure out how to set it up because RGB cables are confusing to a small child, and mom is busy, which really sucks because you don't remember what channel you need to change it to in order to play a game...

Every year, I tell myself that I'll finally buy a 3DS, and every year, I don't. But in 2025, I really do feel like... I'm going to continue that trend.
