I keep chewing on the fact that Azune was left behind in that Rebellion cold open. Kid has to drag himself from death's edge, wakes up to see the grownups have all fallen back, and wyverns are coming. Was he rescued? Did he save himself? WHAT HAPPENED (@luiscarazo.bsky.social spare a spoiler?)

In honor of the lore found within @criticalrole.bsky.social 's new Armory of Heroes book, a visual summary why Sir Zerxus Ilerez, Champion of the Lord of the Hells and cosmically-jacked paladin, somehow barely appeared in records of mid/post-Calamity events.
Still showing up to ExU Calamity fandom three years late with the Memes (c). Loved the Live Paladin Reaction upon Zerxus realizing he maybe shouldn't have had that intimate bonding/chivalrous oath moment with the Lord of the Hells.

Last one for my ExU Calamity bits, Sir Zerxus Ilerez, Voted Most Likely to Follow the Road of Good Intentions to Hell and Get Stuck in the U-Turn. Shout out to @luiscarazo.bsky.social for all the choices that created one of the most heartbreaking characters I've ever crossed in the genre.

Last one for my ExU Calamity bits, Sir Zerxus Ilerez, Voted Most Likely to Follow the Road of Good Intentions to Hell and Get Stuck in the U-Turn. Shout out to @luiscarazo.bsky.social for all the choices that created one of the most heartbreaking characters I've ever crossed in the genre.
Another favorite from ExU Calamity: Vespin Chloras, freshly flayed and on his way to battle. His subplot was one of the most heartbreaking out of the whole thing--the Icarus myth dialed up to 1000. At least the wardrobe is sick.

My take on one of ExU Calamity's NPCs, Xartaza the Erinyes. She had 1.5 scenes but I got whacked with a vision when Brennan said 'porcelain face,' combined with the Lord of the Hells' penchant for flaying. Cue the thought: armor as skin + cracked doll face + a pinch of Hellraiser on there = This
