I don't think any peace will be achieved by the talks mediated by USA. Ukraine just plays the ball, because they don't want the military aid being stopped outright.

That should be the response to that, if Russia moves any significant troops near NATO border, there should be clear response from NATO armies on the other side of the border! Though until they are busy in Ukraine, I don't see that happening.
