I actually have this book. Saw it in a rack at Booths and thought, yes, I do want a little watercolour book about a frog in kinky boots doing self-care routines

You: "bossa nova..."

Me: Oh?

You: "...cover of Dance Monkey"

Me: [screaming incoherence, setting fires indiscriminately]

I also didn't know until just now that the US and EU ports of the game are different. I would've assumed they just changed the one word and called it a day, but they're by entirely different teams. Apparently the US port retains a lot of what made the NES version such a crucifixion

If I'm doing a Time Machine bit I'll check off everyone. MC Escher, Frida Kahlo, Hieronymus Bosch, Odilon Redon, HR Giger, Remedios Varo, some guy painting on the wall in a pyramid, some dude in a cave. Future conspo nuts trying to fit the dragon in the yellow coat into their Ancient Aliens theories

you ever hear early Kraftwerk? The difference from the band's official canon is staggering. Both great, but daaaaamn

Aye, the Peter Green era is really something else altogether (although I'm ashamed to admit I thought that one was by Santana). I haven't listened to a lot of that era but "Oh Well" is a fucking diamond of a song

'Piper At The Gates Of Dawn' and 'Saucerful Of Secrets' are really good, and Syd's solo LPs are strongly recommended as well. I honestly like all the early years though the band themselves tend to downplay anything between 'Piper' and 'Dark Side'
