also the real corps that did real stuff have all been overshadowed by fart huffing "tech" charlatans with incalculable piles of pretend money who sold a dotcom 20 years ago or an ape picture with slurp juice and think they're the new Rockefellers

had a professor who did that. said the only good book on the subject was this specific one, and it was out of print, and the guy who wrote it was an old friend of his, but dead, but he knew his widow and got her permission to just copy the book and hand it out to us as a package

👴back in my day the hardcovers were 200-300, but the online shit was still baby and most didn't have it. but it was also more of a niche technical field with hard-to-write books and limited circulation. more common stuff like the language/history/math was cheaper and there was a good used market

what the hell are they charging the kids for textbooks, those fuckers were already a few hundred 20 years ago

is it because of single use licenses to bullshit online services to kill the used market and piracy?

both google and wikipedia seem convinced this guy doesn't even do real estate. he just can't comprehend the possibility that the mayor of New York City has better things to do than meet with a mediocre millionaire who's apparently been a failure at everything except scamming mattel in the 90s
November 7, 2025 at 11:06 PM
he's not even a billionaire. he's a canadian with 400 mil. in new fucking york city? lmao he doesnt need to see the mayor he needs to go down to the factory and hand out resumes

the funny thing about all these zionist trash liberal reps criticizing mamdani is that he got twice as many votes in a mayoral primary as they ever got in an election in their entire lives.
The dem "primary" for VA governor was a gimme, she was annointed and faced no opponent and no vote
